Xibei Song

Xibei believes that well-conceived, meaningful public space has the potential to imbue tremendous joy and contribute to the formation of important memories for users.

While studying Urban Planning as an undergraduate in China, Xibei found herself most passionate about creating meaningful public spaces, which led her to pursue graduate studies in Landscape Architecture in the United States. As a Chinese national who has traveled broadly, she brings a unique perspective to her design work and the MKSK design team in general. Xibei has both managed and worked on projects of various types and scales, including the District Wharf Fish Market, Southwest Neighborhood Library & Park, and The Apollo. In her spare time, Xibei likes to travel and make pottery.
